Luke's mom introduced us to kale chips and it's now one of my go-to recipes for kale. They are great as side or just a snack and baking them makes them tender and yummy.
Serves 2
Ingredients
1 bunch of kale
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
Remove thick stem from each kale leaf. Cut the leaf into bite-size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner and/or paper towels. Place the kale pieces on the cookie sheet and drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning salt. Then mix with your hands to coat the kale.
Bake for 10, then use a spatula to turn them and bake for another 5 minutes. You want the edges brown but not burnt.
I use a whole bunch of kale because it shrinks down a lot as you can see from the pictures.
I hope you enjoy. Thanks!
